Georgia Tech’s School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering (ChBE) has moved up two spots to 5th in U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of graduate programs nationwide.

"In the last 13 years, ChBE's graduate ranking has risen from No. 14 to No. 5," says Professor David Sholl, who is the John F. Brock III School Chair of ChBE. "This improvement in our ranking is unrivaled by any other program in the country, and it reflects the enormous positive momentum and trajectory associated with all aspects of our program. Our PhD students and faculty are performing research that leads the world. Our ranking is a wonderful external recognition of ChBE's continued excellence."

The Georgia Tech College of Engineering is ranked 8th among the best graduate schools in engineering, and 3rd among public universities.

ChBE is tied at 5th with the University of Minnesota and the University of Texas-Austin.

All 11 of the programs within the College are ranked within the top 10:
